Description
Medical school can be overwhelming.
The pace, the pressure, the endless material, and the strain of balancing studies with personal life can leave students exhausted, isolated, and questioning whether they belong.
Rooted in Grace was born out of that very struggle. In her first week of naturopathic medical school, far from family and battling anxious thoughts, the author began writing prayer letters to God in her journal, pairing them with scripture.
Those personal prayers became her lifeline and now they are gathered here to encourage students walking in similar path.
This prayer book contains 60 prayers (including opening and closing blessings), written to cover every season of the naturopathic student journey:
- Prayers for identity and belonging in God’s calling
- Prayers for study, exams, and clinical mastery
- Prayers for relationships, community, and family
- Prayers for finances, provision, and stewardship
- Prayers for endurance, consecration, and joyful celebration
Each prayer includes a Scripture anchor, a personalized prayer, and a reflection prompt, making it practical, personal, and powerful.
Rooted in Grace is not a devotional (for that, see Manteled in Natural Medicine). Instead, it is a prayer companion; a spiritual toolkit to pray your way through every lecture, lab, and clinic, with God’s strength and wisdom as your anchor.
